Liquiform Out To Reshape Bottle Making Process

Backers of a new approach that will combine plastic bottle forming and filling in a single step expect to have the first products using the new technology on store shelves within a year. The Liquiform™ approach, backed by some heavy hitters, sees a future where containers are created by injecting pressurized liquid into preforms, eliminating the need to first form the bottle with high pressure air and then fill the container in a separate process.
